IEEE UKRI Section
Education Society Chapter
Two
meetings are being organised to launch IEEE ExpertNow in the UKRI Section. ExpertNow
is a new product designed for use in Continuing Education and is potentially
useful for any educators wishing to present high quality one-hour modules on
current technologies. Over 70 modules have been created to date by IEEE, and
more are being produced by the Educational Activities Board (EAB) on a
continuous basis. Full details can be found on the EAB website.
Both
of these introductory meetings will deal with a topic of great interest to
practitioners and end-users, namely the IEEE 802 series of wireless standards.
This
will be a good opportunity for those interested to assess the ExpertNow modules
for use in local IEEE meetings, for student meetings, or for continuing
education programs.
